New Years Resolution

I am the worst at these things! I always want to make goals and I am good for about a week and then well I give up or just forget I had made goals! But maybe this year will be different? Ha ha ha guess I will see! So my long list of goals equals to about 3 things...okay so it's not to long but I had to start somewhere!

GOAL #1 Run on the treadmill at least 20 minuets a day. (lol I had to set my goal small or else I would fail everyday! My goal is to at least run 20 but if that's all I can do then at least made my goal!)

GOAL #2

Double whammy! I don't want to drink soda anymore. I have been addicted for so long and I just want to stop. I need to make water my best friend! Also to stop eating out. I am the worst. It's so much easier for me to grab the kids some food that someone else made so I don't have to do anything. I like the convenience the most I guess. I know this one will be hard but I am going to do it!

GOAL #3
I want to be debt free! John and I both have about 5 credit cards I want to pay off and then cut up! We will still owe money on a house and a car but I want out of the smaller debt we have. I know I am going to have to watch my spending (which isn't usually a problem) and get us out of debt before John returns home from Iraq. Not to mention with baby #4 on the way I don't want to have to worry about money owed. I know we can be it's possible. Especially money coming from the tax return we will be very close to getting it all taken care of. First card to go will be Best Buy! John is so naughty with that card. He loves his electronics!

Max & Maddy

The twins both got these talking singing ride on pony's for Christmas. A few days before they were to get them I thought that I should maybe just take them back that they wouldn't really like them. I kept asking John what he thought and he said just keep them! Regular price was $40 a piece but I hit a sale and got both of them for $40. Thinking I would just see if they like them on Christmas if not I will return them.... well it turns out these little pony's are their favorite toy! They are always pushing his ear to make it talk and sing and they are constantly dragging them around the house to ride on them! I guess it was a good investment! Here are the babies having fun on the pony's....

Too cute :) The first picture with the tiny arrow is pointing too his little man part! Second pic is a side profile, and the third he has his hand in the air right above his head! My sweet little boy!

Counting down the days

John sent me a few of his photos while he is on tour in Iraq. It's fun to see what he has been up too! I do get to talk to him everyday. He calls me at least twice a day. He also has access to the internet so we talk through email, facebook and also skype! As hard as it has been having him gone I am so glad I am one of the lucky ones who gets to talk and see my man everyday!

Breakfast with Santa!

I took Parker to have Breakfast with Santa this morning! It was fun...kinda. It was done by the school and I purchased a pass for Parker, Allison and I. We ate pancakes and sausage! Parker isn't a shy boy but when he sat on Santa's lap he didn't say anything he wanted for Xmas...he just kinda sat there! But at least he believed he was the real Santa and I was able to get a cute picture!

Footsteps In The Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
